1. Privacy Policy

1.1. These rules describe the procedure by which SIA Bartter (hereinafter – Portal) processes personal data.

1.2. These rules apply if the Portal user uses, has used, or has expressed a wish to use the services provided by the Portal or is otherwise associated with the services provided by the Portal, including in relations with the user established before these rules came into force.

1.3. To register on the Portal, you must create your own profile. Registration is done via social networking sites Facebook.com, Google ID, or email. One or more authorization tools linked to one profile will henceforth be used to authorize on the Portal. Before registration, you must provide your basic information, such as name, surname, gender, email address.

1.4. After creating a profile, the user can provide additional information in the "My data" section, such as a description of their profile, change the profile username and other information, and change the profile picture.

1.5. The portal uses cookies to remember whether you have already agreed to our use of cookies on this portal, as well as to provide its users with a more personal experience in using the portal – content and advertising according to interests. Cookies can be controlled and deleted as desired. More information can be found here: aboutcookies.org. The user can delete all cookies on their computer, and most browsers allow cookie blocking to be set. If you have previously given consent to the use of cookies but wish to withdraw it, click here.

1.6. The Portal receives information about the devices that the user uses to access the Portal (e.g., device type, operating system, internet browser, IP address).

1.7. When making payments for services available on the Portal, information related to such transactions is processed.

1.8. The Portal communicates with the Portal user using the contact information provided by the user: email address.

1.9. If the user expresses a wish to subscribe to Portal news about events, the Portal will use the user's email address to send informational emails. The user can register for these informational emails on the registration page or in the "My data / Notifications" section. The user can unsubscribe from news at any time (see "My data / Notifications" section).

1.10. If the user expresses a wish to receive emails about various types of activities on the Portal, the Portal will use the user's email address to send informational emails. 1.11. The Portal processes the personal data and other information provided by the user:

  • to maintain and improve the services provided by the Portal;

  • to verify identity and prevent unlawful use of profiles, as well as to ensure a secure Portal environment;
  • to protect the interests of other users (for example, if the Portal is used for illegal activities).

1.12. The data indicated in the user's profile and the content in the profile are publicly available to all other Portal users, as well as to third parties to a limited extent.

1.13. The Portal offers a search function for other users. Users can view the data in other users' profiles and the content posted. Users have the option to follow other users' profiles.

1.14. Content published in a Portal user's profile can be viewed on both computers and smart devices, so such content can be saved on these devices using the options offered by the Portal, browser, or devices. The user should only post content that other users will be able to see.

1.15. The Portal may process non-personalized information, for example, about the number of Portal users.

1.16. User's personal data may be transferred to third parties in cases and in accordance with the procedure established in regulatory enactments, for example, if the Portal has received a request from a law enforcement authority or to report illegal activities.

1.17. Providing personal data is a prerequisite for creating a profile and receiving services.

1.18. The user has the right to choose the privacy level of their profile and adjust it in the "My data" section (correct or delete data, content indicated in the profile), except in cases where illegal activities have been detected in the profile. In such a case, to protect the interests of other users, a public warning is applied to the user's profile, and the correction of data published in the profile is restricted.

1.19. The Portal user has the right to suspend their profile's activity at any time by closing/deactivating it. After closing the profile, the profile information is no longer publicly available, but it remains registered in the database with the option for the user to reactivate it.

1.20. After closing the profile and deleting information from the profile, it is not immediately visible to other users. The respective profile's email data is stored in the Portal's database so that a new profile cannot be registered with the existing data.

1.22. When visiting the Portal, the user is shown an informational message that cookies are being used. By closing this message, the user of the respective device confirms that they have read and agree to the information about cookies. Cookies can be controlled and deleted as desired. Some browsers can be set to block the placement of cookies on the device. In that case, the user must manually adjust the settings each time the Portal is visited, and there is a possibility that some services and functions will not work.

2. Account Deletion

2.1. To delete your user account on the Portal, go to the "My data and settings" section and look for the "Close profile" link. After closing the profile, the user profile will be deleted and will not be publicly available. Profile closure is available in the full version of the Portal, using an internet browser.
